This year the Elementary Honor Choir Festival will be held Friday, May 9, at Cibola High School Auditorium at 7:00 PM.
The music teacher from each elementary school will select 8 students from his/her school to participate in the choir.
Music and rehearsal tapes will be sent in advance to each teacher, and all music MUST be memorized before the date of the rehearsal.
The Elementary Honor Choir will prepare five selections, directed by Wendy Turner. We will rehearse and learn the choreography the morning of February 23 from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM.
ALL teachers or directors must attend the rehearsal and concert.
Each teacher must arrange his/her own busing.
FEES for the festival are due by Feb. 28, because we must have the fees before the music can be purchased. If your school pays a fee to attend and music is purchased for your school, no refunds can be issued.
We are looking forward to another exemplary concert, and we hope you will be able to participate.
