The YCMEA Choral Festival is an adjudicated festival for elementary and junior high choirs. Schools are also welcome to send grade levels.
Each choir will have 15 minutes to get on the risers and perform their music.
It is recommended that choirs perform 2 contrasting numbers.
Each group will receive written comments from adjudicators.
Fees: $35.00 per ensemble
Plus $10.00 for any non-YCMEA member
YCMEA will provide the following equipment for the festival:
Tape deck
CD Player
Microphones
Piano
Risers
Each director is responsible for any other equipment.
Please plan to come and listen to the other groups. Also, please instruct your students on proper etiquette for being an audience member at a festival.
